ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Erik, a professional
graphic designer​ and aspiring illustrator

As a self described lifelong "doodler", I made it my mission to attend art school​ and had dreams of being some type of artist since childhood. Growing up I would spend hours in my room drawing, sketching and doodling. My mother joked that "I always had a pencil in my hand." After completing high school I made it to art school, at first I had visions of pursuing fine art and or illustration courses, but I ended up getting a Bachelors degree in graphic design. After nearly 20 years of professional graphic design work, I have gone back to my roots as an illustrator / doodler in my free time. As a long-time traditional artist I still draw most of my art on paper before taking it to a digital medium using my iPad. I hope that you will enjoy some of the pieces that I share here and maybe want to purchase a print or an original.
